As long as they are allowed to stay there, this war will never end. Well, it will ultimately be the responsibility of the Afghanis to defend their territorial integrity, and the same for the Iraqis. Long-term border skirmishes are not anything new and neither are tribal clases. Only nukes would do the trick. See where i am going with this. I think we are running out of time and that we need to find a way now to bring the fight to bin laden and particularly zawahiri. Fighting all the branches of al quaeda becomes a lot easier if the head is chopped off. Well, that's kind of like applying a sledgehammer to drive a nail. For the Pakistanis, it's a situation of regaining some measure of tacit control over their NW territories and enlisting the local tribes to police their own territories on penalty of the Pakistani army doing it for them. Pretty much the same situation we're seeing from the Sunni Anbar tribes in Iraq. Hawk
