Maybe, before the next time you go tromping into someone else's country with your White Man's Burden slung across your back, you might want to consider the Hippocratic oath: First, do no harm.

Are you sure you're not referring to the "hypocritic oath"..

Because your definition of "do no harm" seems to give carte blanche to those WHO ARE DELIBERATELY DOING HARM to those we are trying to protect.

And maybe you have the benefit of being distant, uncaring, and indifferent to those children. But I cannot because I've met them face to face and they are more than pictures to me.

Btw, since we're on the topic of doing "no harm", are you support of intervening in Darfur, were a genocide has been taking place for the past 20 years?
