What is putin after? Pertinence. Right now the global "axis of influence" revolves around the US, China, and Europe.. He's not part of that and he knows it (at least unless he makes a stink). Russia and China have been historical rivals, and despite all of those natural resources available in Russia, China is outpacing Russia's growth. Hawk
