On iraqi refugees i disagree. I think we should take some in. Political refugees dont scare me. Muslims dont scare me. What scares me is the inablility of europe to integrate those minorities into the fabric of their society. With all the crap that goes on in the US about immigration the fact on the ground is that every third person you meet is named Rodriguez and no one cares any more. Look at the vietnamese refugees who came here and how they have prospered. America must not deny what it is and the euros need to emulate us in that regard if it aint already too late for that. I remember paki bashing in england from the 60s. Thats what done em in, not osama. A generation or more of folks without hope. Actually the treatment of immigrants in europe was more akin to the way US treated black folks back in the 50s and 60s. Weird stuff.
