What it is you are looking at when making a judgement based on technicals.

Steve,

As I said on the thread's headings, the original purpose was to look at Biotechs & Pharma Companies from a T.A. stand point and try to find any news that could have triggered any recent changes, with emphasis on stocks that are on new UP-TRENDS or DOWN-TRENDS.

However, since there hasn't been much interest,& I have been occupied on other subjects, the postings have been a soliloquy or monologue, on charts that have caught my attention at the time with no specific technical detail in mind.

I usually run a few "scans" during the week, some from a TA standpoint like charts going through different averages, making new Hs, etc. & others from a fundamental point, like price/sales, price/book, projected earnings,PE, etc. which aren't limited to Biotech or Pharma Co.s & don't usually have time to post or aren't allowed.<g>

Here on SI there are a few threads looking for some specific TA detail, like Julius Wong's thread "Charts for Break Out" albeit it is not limited to Biotechs & Pharma Co.s
Subject 53528

Or the old Jim's thread "Stocks crossing the 13 week moving average"
Subject 19933

I haven't been following P&F for years, but if you find any interesting chart patterns, please feel free to post them here & will be glad to look at them.
