FOX's 'Beltway Boys' seem to disagree with you on that one anyway. <g> "they pissed away more than 4 trillion dollars over the past 40 years on failed give away programs, that same money could have gone to maintain the bridges..." You mean... like... WARS and other foreign interventions? Like I said: At this point, I kinda wish we hadn't BLOWN a Trillion or so of BORROWED MONEY on Iraq. We, as a nation, are likely falling further and further behind our commercial competitors (China being just one) with their newer infrastructures. Given the choice of GOING INTO DEBT to: A) rebuild infrastructure important for job creation in America, or B) build infrastructure in 'Iraq'... I believe the American public would overwhelmingly support infrastructure in America. (ESPECIALLY since we are talking about additions to the national debt, that get passed down to the kids!)
