OK.

I mean - if you want to define your terms to mean that when you are using the term "West", you are referring ONLY to the US of A, that's OK with me. (Just give folks a head's-up when you are going to do something like that... 'cause it's definitely non-standard usage.)

Question though... why do you say "not including Islam"? That seems to leave in doubt what you mean when you use the term "major religions".....

Again, I'm not sure I know what you are saying with that... (have no idea what the phrase 'just another religion' is all about. It's certainly a phrase I did not use....)

And, as to the "violence" claim, I believe it's useful to identify whether one is talking about the actions of individuals, or of societies / nations, or trying to talk about entire huge religions.
