Speaking of the brokerage industry:
Sometime after the crash of 87, The head stock strategist at a major wall street firm passed away.
The day after the obit. was in the paper, a phone call came to the brokerage house asking to speak to the man whom had just passed. The secretary explained to the caller how this man had just died. Ten min. later the same caller again asked to speak to this same strategist. Again representative of the firm explained how the man had just died,and the caller only said,"Oh".
Just as soon as they had hung up the phone, this same person a third time called for the head stategist. Now angry, the secretary transfered the call to a V.P. The V.P. was angry also,and inquired of this caller why he kept asking for someone whom had died?
His reply was simple yet complex, "I just enjoy hearing that he is DEAD"!
I understand this story is true.
