cll.to - finished my little planned position wednesday, then added a few friday, glad of it now and don't expect that to change soon ... you're absolutely right Eric, a 4.50 takeout would be hard to resist, i'd vote against on principle but my piddly few would mean nothing, there's been over two years of frustration in wait time here and stock would come gushing out for sure, even if defeated it would be a near thing

There's also the possibility there will be no takeout offer and the stock plods on through 4.50 all by itself, with the customary zigs and zags along the way ... most all acquirors would find it complex, feel the need to sell off assets they didn't want, maybe they'll find simpler easier prey

Third possibility is that a bid comes in, then another competing, now it's 5.50 and the story not over yet ... hard to say, we can't know, but as long as they're growing cash flow i'd say things look pretty fair from here

Could use more institutional holders, they're coming but not fast, 7.24% this says, 28 holders, 9 of them new but 7 bailed last quarter, net buyers 3 - stocks.us.reuters.com

Remember ngt.v? - that merger was planned, but didn't come off as fast or quite as rich as we'd expected, a good part of the reason why was frustration at things quite similar to cll.to today ... you and i were sitting pretty, in early and cheap, still it got a bit tedious there for a while, didn't it ... worked out well in the end though, in retrospect i maybe should have left well enough alone after selling a third on over a triple, just look at agi.to long-term chart now

On the eternal bare-bones question of, What is the best thing to do now, i think for me, in re Connacher, the best thing is to just sit on it for a while ... given a desire to hold something in the oilpatch, and not knowing much else except Suncor which is a bit pricey now ... if it gets taken out, c'est la vie, there is still quite decent profit in it from this level ... highly auspicious chart imho - two years basing in a long wedge like that can provide power when FA factors get noticed, and in the unlikely event basing goes on for another year or more it will just provide that much more - stockcharts.com
