If I understand correctly, in this analog you see the current situation corresponding to that in early 1991 - a deepish bear trap, and then a rally. Anything's possible. It seems that the advance out of the Oct 1991 low was an "equivalent" of a Wave 1 - followed by waves 3 and 5 later. It could be that the rally from this year's Jan - March lows was W1 of the new advance..... but for now I think it was corrective.
