It seems hard to find any good trading setups - both short and longer term. Waves are hard to read - or, rather it's hard to find interpretations which would be distinctly more likely to occur than their alternates.

I guess many people feel this way - for a variety of different reasons. This is what probably explains the unusually low trading volumes. "Quantifiable edges" did a study about low volumes:

It appears that for the next several days short trades may have a better probability for success. Hopefully, as near term wiggles play out we may start getting some better idea with respect to the larger picture.
