You are right. Those "abcde" down fivers need to be labeled differently. But the overall count is still possible - it could be a very bullish series of 1's and 2's, with a big move up pending. I just don't think it is the most likely scenario... but I'm ready to cut and run if needed.

Another scenario that I do not favor but worth keeping in mind is that the decline into 7/28 low was Wave A.... everything since then is Wave B... and what's pending is a sharp "C" down -- but only to be followed by yet another sharp move up (to match the advance from the mid-July lows).

The "attractiveness" of that latter scenario is that it would probably beat the crap out of both bulls and bears.

Until proven otherwise, I expect a turn down from around these current levels.
