Market or Limit stop?.... Tell them you want 100 free trades if they screwed up....

Blowing Lmt. Stops was a big problem during the Tech Bubble and crash, do to fast moving markets. I use GTC Market Stops on stocks and ETFs with narrow spreads...I only use Limit stops on low volume stocks or / and wide spreads...

Just imo, of course... I rarely miss the exit by more than a few pennies.. with electronic trading and since bids went to 1/4 to pennies.. I have not seen much problem. Of course if one is a scalper, every penny counts.
