Friday retraced barely a quarter (if that much) of the sharp 9/2 - 9/5 decline. However, looking at the 30 - 15 min charts of INDU or SPX or COMPX... it is absolutely not clear what is it about that afternoon's bounce that managed to inspire such optimism. Imho, the markets look like they are ready to break down. Will they? WTF knows... but (unless most of what I read is authored by smart money -g) all this "Rapid Response Bullishness" is actually disturbing.
