I read the Gross article a few days ago. The bottom line is that he seems to believe everything will be fine and dandy if the Government just goes ahead and bails out everyone and everything, even before problems begin for real - this way problems would be prevented. I think it is a wonderful idea - for those who believe in Socialism. As far as short squeezes go - they'll always happen. Even those who are in cash are long cash and short opportunity in the markets. If markets rally, cash holders feel like the train is leaving the station... they panic - and start buying.
