Morning thoughts: I can't help thinking that a large determining factor in choosing the current strategy for our economic "salvation" were interests of politicians - and political connections enjoyed by large firms - of which GS is the poster boy. Can't have Capitalism - aka a free society - without people facing responsibility for their actions. The more complicated and confused things become, the more important it is to have a clear vision of one's priorities and principles. It is becoming obvious that our current crop of politicians has no underlying philosophy which would guide their actions. Neither does a large portion of the population. We have a government we deserve.
