Has anyone looked deeper into TOT bid for UTS? I did a quick swag on the value of reserves/resources and get a value $.15 a bbl. Another way to look it is the latest estimate of the Fort Hills Project's resources is about 4 billion barrels of bitumen; these resources will be recovered using mining technologies. UTS has a 20% interest. This number gives a value of $0.38 a bbl for Ft Hills Hope we get other companies in the bidding to an idea of current market value for bitumen.
