Speaking of 200DSMA, I have a friend who has a (costly) liking for preferred financials (PFO), and sometimes he will ask me what I think about the chart. Clearly, PFO did very poorly over the past couple of years since it first broke under that average in late May of 2007, bouncing off down on several occasions. At this time it is within a few percentage points from testing it again. There may be an indicator in there somewhere.
