Larry, a few thoughts:

First, there's no disputing that the charts look awful for WFR. Given what we know about the September quarter (sequentially down from June, start up costs for the new Texas Fab, product transitions with customers, etc.) it would be more surprising if that were not true.

Second, the decision I have to make is not whether to buy the stock right now, but whether to hold or sell it. I already own it. I rode it down to the high 20's in July and am prepared to ride out the current weakness. Would I put new money into it right now? No, I'd wait 'til after the next earnings release. But I still believe MEMC will do well in the future.
