A Kentuckian was having trouble getting his mule into the barn. Seems everytime the mule's ears hit the door jamb he would plant his feet and bray. The Kentuckian got out his handsaw and started sawing two notches for the mule's ears in the door jamb. A West Virginian passed by and asked what the Kentuckian was doing. The Kentuckian says he's making notches for the mule's ears so he could get it in the barn. The West Virginian says "Why don't you just get a shovel and make room by digging more space in the dirt floor?" "You idjet!" says the Kentuckian, "It's his ears that are too long, not his legs!"
