Interesting. Perhaps you would be willing to inform me why you would be willing to spend $1,500 for a TV. The most I have ever spent on one was about $250. I haven't entered the large format TV age yet, so I was just hoping to hear from a trustworthy aficionado what I have been missing.

I'm at the stage where I've just stopped cable, but haven't yet subscribed to Netflix. I even have 2 Tivos with lifetime subscriptions that have begun accumulating dust from disuse.

A friend does wonderful Bollywood movie nights for up to 30 guests in his home theater. I believe he uses a projection system.
