Alan Ableson flamed NWAC in his column in Barron's this week (11/3/97). He says the airline will suffer because about one third of its routes involve the Far East, primarily back and forth flights to Hawaii. Economic troubles over there could seriously curtail vacation travel, which will hurt NWAC more than any other of the major carriers.
