Ray, I am neither worried nor enthused about WFR going down. As an early bull, I made a ton of money on this one already. Currently I have no interest in MEMC. But, I am waiting for a major rally to add some put position.
For now, you may be right about seeing no reason for MEMC to go down further. For all you know, the supply glut I am predicting may not even happen. Yet, the street reaction to "unknowns" is rather wild. Expecially when the momentum is on the down side, you better watch out. I will ask you a simple question: between Applied Materials and MEMC which do you think is a more diversified and better managed company? If your answer is AMAT, you should know that a set of unknowns and negative perceptions have driven AMAT to low 20's. If your answer is MEMC, I have nothing more to say.
Good luck!
