Zeev, I do not know enough about the spec's of the wafer users to be authoritative on the basis of my own experience. However, I would like to run a comment by you that I received from two sources, one of whom was th IR person at MEMC. The comment is to the effect that the fab's have found that the unique characteristics of wafers from specific suppliers work best in their specific production processes. Supposedly, MEMC has individualized spec's for around 1000 variations of their "standard" products. I don't know whether this is hype or not but the implication is that, once a supplier has qualified his wafers for a particular customer, the supplier is not easily dislodged. If we are trully dealing with a down and dirty fight for share of market with the suppliers being easily played off against one another, the outlook could be grim. On the otherhand, if a supplier is not easily dislodged and both the supplier (MEMC) and the cust. (INTL) know it, a great deal more pricing flexibility exists. Therefore, the answer to my question, I feel, has far reaching significance. Others with first hand knowledge of which scenario is the real case may wish to chime in. Regards: Cliff
