OK, thanks for the article location & the PSR stuff although I subscribe to the fact that most speculative investors don't attempt to take things as far apart as you do. I have a feeling the price of many of these issues is more controlled by the daily expectations of the longs balanced against the daily "dis-expectations" of others. The article I've been looking for is "Anatomy of a Short Squeeze" which appeared in the 6/17/96 issue of Forbe's. forbes.com If I recall it was a very interesting rundown of the famous PRST activity some time ago, Calton Lutts and all. It appears to be no longer available online and I'll always wonder if they pulled it due to its scare factor or to keep others from getting the same idea. :-)
