PCYC's web site now has a fuller report of the Gd-Tex Ib/II trial results (as well as the earlier Lu-Tex results). Here is the url:

pcyc.com

Bottom line from the trial is that only 1 of 9 patients with metastised brain tumors that received a (very) low dose of Gd-Tex plus radiation was alive nine months later, whereas around 20 of 30 who received a reasonable dose plus radiation were still alive after about a year. Moreover, only 1 of the deaths was from brain metastasis progression.

(Note that the graph they give showing % survival is a little misleading as the number of patients who were being treated increased over time. I think looking at total deaths gives a clearer - and even more favorable - picture.)

I read somewhere else that these patients, with standard radiation treatment, have only a 2-4 month expected life.

If these results hold up, I can't see how any doctor could conceivably use brain radiation without using Gd-Tex. Further, as these were a wide variety of tumors with different primary lesions (mainly lung, with some breast and melanoma), these results should probably extrapolate to non-brain tumors as well.

Lots of other interesting stuff on their site as well - altogether a nicely done presentation of their science.

I've increased my holdings during the recent mini-dip, and this is now my second-biggest biotech holding (after SEPR).
