"There are millions of people across this country who lack the means to get into institutions of higher learning without burdening themselves with tremendous debt (student loans just hit $1 Trillion recently)."

Education is a great idea but there is nothing in the constitution that entitles you to a free one. Some members of SI believe every American should be educated for free to the level of a Ph.D. If schools were doing there job kids would graduate high-school with some sort of trade and be able to pay for their continuing education.

Why stop there! I wonder how much it would cost to educate everybody to the level of a Shakespeare a da Vinci or a Newton? Imagine what Steve Jobs could have accomplished if he had been managed by Sr. Koan.

Of course there is nothing in the constitution that says everyone must receive a Ph.D., there is actually nothing in the constitution that says the government must provide any education so I guess the constitution has to go.

The sad fact is this is what you get when everyone goes to college.
