Marshall: Know what you're also ignoring? The equipment & setup costs of a VPN. Quite a few companines are beginning to offer outsourced VPNs. All you need is a high speed connection from your head end to theirs. Maintenance, scalability, upgrades all become the problem of the ISP or telco or whomever it is providing you with the VPN. Talk about a hassle free way of taking care of your remote access needs. I've seen monthly fees of $25 per user. Don't know if that includes internet access or not. You should look further into the way these really work and their limitations. Other than potential hassles with the ISP connection and lack of PBX capabilities what other limitations are there? drakes353
