Got any MultiLevel Marketing joke (a.k.a Network Marketing eg. Amway) Here is a real one:
In any given phone conversation between the MLM cult member and his/her potential prey:
MLMer: "Hi, Janet. Remember me? We met at Mrs. Middleperson's house. I was the tall one with black hair."
Janet: "Sorta. How are you doooinnng..?"
MLMer: "I AM DOING GREAT!!!!! I just started my own business, and it is running really well."
Janet: "Well, good for you...."
MLMer: "See, I am looking for some key people to work with, and I could see your potential. I think you will do great in this business."
Janet: "Thanks, but we only have shook hands and all..."
MLMer: "Oh, Mrs. Hookup, I mean Middleperson (MLMer doesnt know her well either) spoke very highly of you. She told me that you are well fitted for this business."
Janet: "So what kinda business is it?"
MLMer: "Oh, we are a strong growth company in a strong industry sector. The market is not tapped and everybody needs our products."
Janet: "Ok, sounds good. What is the company's name?"
MLMer: "I would like to invite you to our office because I cant stay too long on the phone. What is your schedule like this week?"
Janet: "On Sunday...maybe midnight...so what kinda position are you looking for?"
MLMer: "We have some management positions as well as reps. People really make a lot of money in this business."
Janet: "Really? May I ask what kinda income you make?"
MLMer: "I make a really good living. Just bought a new BMW."
Janet: "So how much is it exactly?:
MLMer: "Different people make different income in this business. I am doing pretty well."
Janet: "What is this exactly?!?!?!? One of those Amway, Equinox, Excel, International Heritage, NSA, WMA....NO I AM NOT INTERESTED."
MLMer: "No, Jenny..I mean Janet. Ours is different. We have a different compensation plan...and a good training program...we are not a cult...."
Janet: "THANKS BUT NO THANKS!" Click
MLMer: All frustrated. Proceed to another call......Later found a victim to go to the cult meeting with him.
