There's nothing Adaptec-specific in recent news:
o there has been no significant insider selling
o 3Coms modem inventory glut is specific to them and Motorola's exit
o it's too early for earnings preannouncements
o no recent negative developments on fiber channel
o server and drive volume demand is still strong

P.S. The price action has fixed the volume. Adaptec is now in the top ten.
