just a thought, but has anyone called WFR to ask the question? Doug, I do remember comments that WFR was attempting to requalify wafers with INTC some time back but have heard nothing more about it. Not being as knowledgable as most on this thread re what it takes to qualify a wafer, IMO that fact that 200mm has been around for several years and INTC has a supplier perhaps WFR will be a back up supplier or a supplier of 300mm when that size ramps up in a few years. BTW I still think WFR may be behind the curve in 300mm as I have heard not only is Japan (SEH?) growing 300mm but Wacker is as well and WFR is still holding the 'cookoff' . Rumor has it that Kayex is out of the running. As an aside, I think WFR is a reasonable buy and I am now long again although I've written call vs my postion.
