R.B., are you still living in an era before technical analysis? And, no one, is saying T.A. is theee one and only thing.
If every technical indicator, boogeyman, and magical omen is pointing at AAPL to rise drastically but their earnings come in at $36 for this year and $30 next, do you think the stock would still rise? Performance trumps all. Pretty patterns can influence psychology and psychology can influence short-term supply/demand/pricing, but as time passes, earnings trump all. I'm still waiting for someone to explain how AAPL will see 10% earnings growth and $45+/share in FY14. Earlier this year, analysts were predicting $50+ for next year... what happened?
