There is a definite pattern developing here. I post a scholarly article and you dismiss it without engaging in any meaningful interaction. The United Church of Canada (which Northrup Fry was associated) is notoriously led by Atheists who don't have the courage to be honest about it, choosing instead, to fool the few little old ladies that remain with double speak about "The risen Jesus who lives in their hearts" while cashing their paychecks. I was raised in the United Church so I know this for a fact. When you examine the methods and presuppositions of Northrup Fry you find a shallow pseudo-intellectual scholarship that reaches it's conclusions before ever examining the evidence. In fact as the following article makes plain the evidence stands in sharp contrast to the prejudiced conclusions of the "Jesus Seminar" types that you seem so enamored with. I have a great quote by CS Lewis I'll have to dig up about the reliability (actually it's total failure when tested against a known verifiable work) of literary criticism. Lewis' work was subjected to the same type of literary analysis and he said they (literary critics) were never even close to being accurate. All that with an author not separated by time language and culture. It is simply a big con perpetrated by people who can tell a good story that they make up out of their heads.
