I had my 3rd child in Sept of that 1963 year, my beloved Grandfather died in October...then JFK was killed in Nov. Plus we all were involved in the after effects of the removing the President by someone wicked person, with the thinking that maybe Russia, or the Mafia or heaven forbid, some of the people saying that the new President LBJ had a hand in the death....Those flyers from the uber right wing, BOTH Left and Right, in Texas and perhaps other places in the world, gave us all pause to think that maybe there was another threat to our Nation that we had never had before... And then not too long after, the world went completely nuts.....Riots in the streets, young people going amuck, Woodstock, sleeping together in public, having babies without being married...living together without being married, Hollywood folks doing and saying things our tender ears had not heard before OR certainly not used by "polite society in public," and all the other ETCs of life worldwide as it is today....
