Hi Jerome,

I agree with intc - if IBM sells lower servers to lenova - they will compete on price and guess who sells the server processors. As ex CEO said - Guess who is making the most money in mobility? - aapl then intc.

I think all of the talk about csco losing its server business and software defined servers will take away csco's core business - is a lot of fear mongering much like that which has impacted intc for over the last year or so.

I put T in the realm of rumor mongering as well - t mobile is a pimple on an elephants butt .At&t has the largest 4th generation wireless infrastructure with fios having been ridiculed for over 5 years - they have built out a wireless infrastructure that will threaten cablecos and satellite distributors .Years ahead and suffering from a change in billing brought on by smaller systems nibbling at their heals - like intc and csco much over blown future problems.

Natural gas will continue to come on in great supply as it is a bi-product of shale fracing and that is expected to go strong through at leats 2015 maybe even 2017.

Great post thanks for the thought starters.

Has HPQ morphed from hardware enough to be that profitable? It seems IBM selling server business makes me question the services morph having been accomplished that quickly and that substantial
