It is no harder than convincing the left that their voters don't deserve a middle class lifestyle just for breathing. That hard work, starting with studying hard in school and showing up on time for various low paying jobs as you work your way up, rather than sitting on your ass smoking pot or drinking booze, is a requirement for a $15/hr job. The actual range of opinion within groups labeled by the media or outsiders is much greater than those not inside can recognize. I know "left" voters who would to a great extent agree with you about the issues you bring up here. Their "left" quality comes from my qualification: "to a great extent." Those working with stereotypes say all the left folks are like THIS and all the right are like THAT, and all the unemployed are like That or This. Our real world is much harder to talk about, not nearly as satisfying.
