Hi Kirk,

It is no harder than convincing the left that their voters don't deserve a middle class lifestyle just for breathing
Kirk, I think you live in a different universe than most Americans. I live in rural America (upper midwest),.Here there are no street people or panhandlers. This week it has been between -10 to -22 below zero..We do a good job here in sheltering the very few homeless. Jobs here are scarce and none in the $15.00 range you mention. Carpenters and other skilled trades are fortunate to get 12 to 14 dollars an hour. .RN's get between 14 to 17 an hour.. An office call at my physician costs $65.00..Food stamps, medicare and medicaid are the norm. Its not about getting into the middle class, its about staying afloat till a better opportunity is available.

The absolute disdain and contempt the far right has for those less fortunate is something new in American politics. It reminds me about the quote from a Republican Governor of Pennsylvania during the hight of the depression, as he declined federal aid to set up food kitchens..
There are no hungry people in Pennsylvania.
He did not get re-elected.

Now for some stock picks... The beaten down oil service companies, that have charts that reach to the bottom right corner of your computer screen are headed for salvation. My picks here are RIG, and ESV. BP is worth a look.
