That was good advice last year. Unfortunately I didnt have deswell on my radar last year. This year I am interested in nam tai which has close relationships with deswell and just recently issued deswell like warrants as part of a rights offering. Being curious about the effect of a call stipulation on these warrants I downloaded desswells stock and warrant closing prices to calculate the warrant premiums pre and post the 20 day over 12.08 period. From 8/1/96 thru 1/15/97 with an average stock price of 9.22 and warrant price of 1.013, the time value(premium) in the warrants was 16%. As the stock completed its 20 day interval from 1/16/97 until 2/12/97 the warrant lost all of its time premium and sold at a discount for 17 of the 20 days. The average stock price was 17 and the warrant only 3.85. After that until today the warrant has traded at a premium approximately 2/3 of the time. All calculations were made based on daily closing prices. Since you have been in this stock since early this year I would appreciate some insight on the company's communication to share holders about the possible call of the warrants, Could you please help me in this regard because I believe this might provide insight on the future direction of ntaif warrants after they pass into the callable range of stock prices.
