You can still purchase it [Snow Leopard] on the Apple store for $19.99 which I thought was surprising. I believe you can actually still purchase Lion and Mountain Lion as well, you just have to call Apple to do it. They then give you a code to redeem at the App Store. I did that for Lion after Mountain Lion came out. Apple also still sells Snow Leopard Server by phone, which is the only way to legally run it in a virtual machine via Parallels, Fusion, etc. It's great if you have PowerPC apps you need to run. Details are here in the Apple Product Help thread for anyone wishing to purchase Snow Leopard Server.
