REAL Inflation due to Obamacare - 15.4% for a car wash.

This car wash does a good business... Two Mercedes and a Tesla were in front of my Ford E150 van today...

Costs with a coupon sent in the monthly mailers went from

$12.99 last August to $13.99 at the start of 2014 and now they have to raise it another $1 to $13.99. It is noise for me but for many, they may decide to wash in their driveways or go longer without a wash.

I am fine with it as I'd rather the hard workers at the car wash get health insurance than use the ER but the costs ARE significant and they are being passed on to locals.

Crap, they are back to compressing images so you can't read the dates.

Bottom has expiration date of August 2013
Middle is Feb 2014
Top is June 2014

Of course, with a $2 tip that I didn't increase, the total inflation is a bit less... and you would think if not for water shortage, some enterprising high school kids could offer to wash your car for $20, including tip, in your driveway and save us having to wait around at the car wash. (I kind of enjoy looking at cars others drive, munching some popcorn, talking to the prettier customers that are waiting and having a tiny cup of lemon aid while I wait....)
