You just don't get it. We lose tax revenue when jobs move overseas to build stuff. The more cash off shore, the more incentive to move even more jobs offshore to build more stuff because you don't have to pay 35% to bring the cash back to the US to pay salaries.

Rather than pay 35% tax then buy CapX in AZ or CA to build iPods, Apple pays for equipment and dedicated capacity at Foxcom and TSMC in return for lower prices on what is made.

This has been going on since I first walked into HP in 1978! Your partisan comments about Bush this or that is partisan crap. This trend to move jobs out of the US has been RELENTLESS and it starts from places with high tax rates.

I also know FIRST HAND that countries PAY US COMPANIES with tax savings to move jobs to their shores to get the jobs, the training and the thousands of other jobs these first jobs spawn.

You seem like a likable, smart guy except for the area of politics where you seem to be on par with Maxine Walters in your understanding of how economies work and how to actually help people help themselves.

One last time... as you say they ALREADY avoid most/many taxes but it costs a fortune to do plus it ships jobs offshore. Bring the jobs back and all the new people with jobs pay 25 to 39% taxes on the income and that actually LOWERS the deficit.
