Hi Jerome,

I can see it is getting to be time for us to go fishing and I can straighten your wayward ways of thinking out - if possible. <smile>

I have had stock turn in multibaggers under Reagon,Clinton, and both Bushes. So far not Obama.

I don't think politics has anything to do with my semi stocks - beyond global growth.

They got creamed when the Hunt brothers brought on black tuesday in 87.

They got creamed when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait.

I do NOT think any of my stocks have gained because of any president.

I think some presidents have been lucky to have served when the internet explosion brought destructive and enabling abilities to the world - primarily the result of American innovation and more than likely the support of several presidents prior to the creation of the web.

Stocks gain as the result of individuals accumulating the shares and holding them during economic expansionary times for their business's cycle. This strong ownership is only given up after a significant increase in valuation - which can be measured in many ways.

You keep tieing economic good times to your favored politicians and their party's ideologue positions.

Me I'll keep buying great little companies.

Failed socialism is never very attractive. Our current president has shown us this again.
Time will judge each president - each will be more accurately assessed with greater time.

Some will have been judged weak and incompetent - some wise and strong and others just lucky to be there when they were.

The global economy grows and recedes over the long term - so long most of us do not have the ability to see the slow changes that have momentum.

Over my years I have bought into the crap each side has spewed and was sure the the failure of my preferred politician to reach office the world would fail - and the world kept on ticking along.

I have since deduced that politicians have very little to do in the equation of global economic growth and leadership.

In fact some/ most actually derail growth in an attempt to seek constituents support.

Again how good or badly they did this while in office shows up later with the clearing view of time.

You will learn this too after being let down by the failure of your preferred choices.

Walleye are biting in Winnebago.

September is out of my calendar - going moose hunting in Alaska - Home of the more beautiful in life than on TV, Great, and Wise Sarah Palin LMAO !!
