Everywhere you will find issues. So maybe this is the best I can find- Northern California is very nice- but it is, sadly, attached to the rest of the United States of Disfunction. We'll see. If I find somewhere better- I'll let you know.

I think most people take it seriously. The people who don't are a dead loss, and there's nothing you can do about them. It's like the people who don't get the Hobby Lobby decision. There are people who want religious intrusion in to our lives. They see nothing wrong with an employer determining, based on belief, what procedures its employees can access via their health insurance. It's insane- but so is a good portion of our electorate.

Blaise said it best:
Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.
Blaise Pascal

I'll bet Blaise Pascal, a Christian mathematician and philosopher whose last work, Pensees, was written as a defence of the Christian religion, regrets how his quotation is used.
