Good Morning Kirk,

Many mergers and consolidations have eliminated many competitors.

Fewer big players with product lines that have survived.

Stable orders and large established customer bases all slowly created over the last 14 years.

Dividend paying companies that are buying back more stock than they are creating through ESOP plans.

It really is different this time.

Just my hunch - but it does look better than it has for a long time !!

I think it is different this time - I know I know.LOL

That means we'd have to go through the 1998 corrective wave yet before we get higher valuations.

I think we'll see the rule of alternation apply here.

1999 was very volatile and had wild swings primarily based on the PC cycle and the emergence of the internet.

Since then we've been out of favor and had to pass the test of time.
