Hi Jerome,

All car manufacturers have rust warranties.

GM's is 5 years 100,000 miles.

The sheet metal has both sides of it coated with a thin layer of metal that does not rust. Then primered, then painted.

In areas where a lot of welds are made internally a wx product is sprayed to prevent moisture from ever getting to the steel.

In Texas there is zero rust (except if you go in the gulf of Mexico.

Up here in Wisconsin the salt and sand do terrible damage to all vehicles.

I've sold some 150,000 mile trucks from Texas and they look brand new.

Wisconsin is experimenting with beet juice to prevent icing of roads.

It would be wonderful to find an alternative to using salt.

Salt is inexpensive until one also considers the damage it does to all vehicles.

Don't you have a nano firm that is on this?LOL

Bob
