Yup

Ramond James (Financial Advisors) put a sell on GTAT recently because they said there were "Too many unknowns about the company"....Its my guess that they did not bother to read the last conference call notes from GTAT or note that GTAT has a five year production contract with Apple for Sapphire. Nor did he note that Apple has exclusive rights to some GTAT patents concerning Sapphire.Kirk you got it right ....Too many investors chase headlines (Allibaba) as a basis for investment calls, instead of reading conference call notes for substantive information.

Bond guru Jeffrey Gundlach (founder of DoubleLine) said something really interesting on TV last week. He said they did a study to show you can be 100% right about what will happen in five years but lose all (most) of your clients as people pay for short term performance.

I believe Buffet confirmed what I said when I started my newsletter years ago, when you manage your own money, you can have a ton of patience and use this to your advantage because the funds can't afford to look that far out.
