I'd not be surprised to learn the arms merchants, even the US based ones, fund terrorism to create markets for their products. After all, they have most of the carnage far from our safe shores and their family can avoid the military by going to expensive private schools and then get jobs with cronies. Only the working poor have to use the military to advance their positions and it is paid under the guise of patriotism. I think it naive to believe they don't benefit from war or at least the fear of terror. |
