Would you divorce a wife you loved simply because she got ill and spent too much money?

If you count Sunday on a boat big enough I didn't need a wet suit, I have 100 days on the Bay so far this year...

For me,

#1 I like having an ocean close by and a good, long reliable windsurfing season on the SF Bay where the Great White sharks don't usually feed.

#2 I like having a very large concentration of some of the smartest people in the World nearby to interact with in person. Some like to be a big fish in a small pond but I love the variety of fish here even if I can't come close to their success.

#3 I don't like the cold or extreme heat. That makes most of the country "not a nice place to live" by comparison in my eyes.

#4 You get what you pay for. What better use of money is there than to live where you enjoy the weather and people?

From how many small towns can I take a short drive to a friend's boat and get these photos I took Sunday?

If one of my biotech stocks hit, I could possibly buy one of these houses....

We'll complain in hopes of making it better. It doesn't mean we want a divorce.
