LOL. Sure read like he was looking to write something for attention. The organization really won the award, how they cobbled together a team just good enough to barely win. I don't think ANYONE picked them to wind the series when the playoffs started. EVERYONE contributed but it wouldn't have been possible without MadBum making up for most of the other starters being AWOL. Now if Cain comes back healthy after Tommy John surgery and if Lincecumcan can get healthy or figure out what is wrong that has him inconsistent.... and they get the leadoff hitter and center fielder, Pagan, back then they'll probably be even better next year. I hope they didn't ruin that young flamethrower Strickland's confidence by putting him in before he was ready.
