Anyway, taking classes via internet or microwave will NEVER REPLACE the connections one makes at the smaller, top schools like Harvard and Stanford you make in person. I wonder if Gates, Brin, Paige and Zuckerberg would have had the success without the contacts they made at those top schools, say if they took classes via microwave (or internet) rather than in person? Could it be that a high tax state like California......uses the money to create those top schools.......and those top schools......create top notch connections...that you admire like Gates, Brin, Paige, and Zuckenberg?
Heck if you hate taxes so much...move to Bangladesh, Somalia, or Northern Scotland... All three of these countries have an ocean view with plenty of opportunities for your sail boarding. Heck in Somalia, you don't even need a permit to carry a side arm, but it is highly recommended that you bring in a decent supply of ammo.
So the DNA of California....may contain strands of high taxes......strands of top notch technical universities, and strands of top notch connections that lead to an Eureka moment.
